I have been somewhat training for my first triathlon later this year for a while. I haven't been on a true plan until recently.
I am following a plan for a sprint triathlon mainly because of time constraints.
Today, a 45 minute bike ride out on the Trace. Mainly just a base phase workout in Zones 1 and 2. Things went well even in the rain. Also, a 40 minute treadmill run in Zone 2. Things are starting to get better on the bike and the run is fine. Both would be better if I could continue to lose weight. That is another subject within itself.
