Swimming

Just a light day of swimming for 30 minutes and then an hour lifting weights. Lifting weights after swimming is so much fun. I tried out my new goggles and they are great. No fog at all but some leakage but that won't be hard to fix.

Off day on Friday but we will see how that goes. Brick on Saturday.

Here we go

Let's see how this goes. This is my attempt to "blog" about my attempt to tri.

I have been somewhat training for my first triathlon later this year for a while. I haven't been on a true plan until recently.

I am following a plan for a sprint triathlon mainly because of time constraints.

Today, a 45 minute bike ride out on the Trace. Mainly just a base phase workout in Zones 1 and 2. Things went well even in the rain. Also, a 40 minute treadmill run in Zone 2. Things are starting to get better on the bike and the run is fine. Both would be better if I could continue to lose weight. That is another subject within itself.
